Fractional Head of Content
A content leader
for your team. Without the hire.
I embed with your company 2–3 days a week and run your content function from the inside — strategy, execution, and the team to deliver it.
Hiring a senior content leader full-time is slow, expensive, and harder to justify every year.
Most companies don't need another head on the payroll — they need the expertise, the system, and the network to get content done.
What I take off your plate.
STRATEGY
I set the content direction, the messaging, and the editorial calendar.
THE FUNCTION
I build your content operation from scratch — or scale the one you have.
THE TEAM
I bring a vetted network of writers, producers, and editors. No hiring required.
YOUR PEOPLE
I coach your in-house team so the capability stays after I leave.
How embedding works.
2–3 DAYS A WEEK
I work inside your team, in your tools, in your standups. A real member of the team, not an outside agency.
SENIOR FROM DAY ONE
You get a Head of Content's judgement immediately — no ramp, no management overhead.
FLEXIBLE BY DESIGN
Scale me up when you're pushing hard, down when you're steady. Month to month.
Who this is for.
I work across stages and budgets — from seed-stage startups building their first content engine to pre-IPO companies professionalising the one they have.

Serge Faldin
CHIEF CONTENT OFFICER
Serge is a writer and creative producer who has spent a decade building the media side of tech and fintech companies — from the inside.
After receiving his B.A. in Business & Administration from Babson College and Creative Writing M.A. from University of London, he's led content and creative as Head of Content and in-house lead, and as a freelancer, for companies including Nuvei, Osome, 3S Money, and Silverbird.
His journalism has appeared in The Guardian, Prospect, Meduza, and Truthout.
He started Byline on a simple conviction: every company is sitting on expertise the world would pay attention to — if someone knew how to get it out. That's the whole job.
